Hello! I'm Monica, the founder and creator behind Alter London.

 

Alter London was born from my passion for easy to wear accessories that are kind to animals and the planet. Since 2020 I've been​ using renewable and innovative sustainable plant-based textiles throughout my collections. These textiles lead to far less waste than animal leather or plastic based leather alternatives (ie. PU, PVC), meaning less landfill waste, less energy consumption and less impact on the environment. Furthermore, to avoid over production and to reduce waste, all my items are either made-to-order or produced in small batches in South East London.​​​​

My designs are modern and easy to wear, with a minimalist silhouette that complements the unique textures of the materials. I hope you will enjoy using my pieces as much as I enjoy making them for you!​​​
