Alter London is an eco-conscious slow fashion brand based in London, UK.

 

The brand was born from a passion for minimalist accessories that are kind to animals and the planet. Our founder, Monica, cares about the environment as well as animal welfare, and therefore over the years she has experimented with various innovative and sustainable cruelty-free textiles made from waste and natural resources to reduce the brand’s impact on the environment.

 

Since 2020, the brand has been focusing on using renewable and sustainable plant-based leather alternatives which lead to far less waste than animal leather or plastic based leather alternatives, meaning less landfill waste, less energy consumption and less impact on the environment. Furthermore, the brand has gradually switched to handmade and made-to-order to avoid over production and to reduce waste.

 

Currently all our items are responsibly produced in London.
